Its that time of the year
Tomorrow is draft day for my fantasy football league. This marks year number 2 for me running this leauge. My other foray into fantasy occured about 3 years back when i was priveledged enough to be in the Underdog's fantasy league with Wad, Ginty, Timmy, Slumba, the Rock and a host of others. While i drafted a decent team, most of my players went down with injuries and i didnt win a damn red cent.
Now i run a leauge with a bunch of guys at work. This year Ginty and Tos have joined in the fun along with some other nerds from LP. Last year, like my UD team, most of my players got hurt and i just missed out on the playoffs and the money. This year we added 5 more guys so the pickings will be slimmer.
A lot of people tend to look down upon fantasy sports and the people who play them. To that i say, fuck you. Its a lot of fun and the winner this year can take home over 300 bucks, for doing practically nothing.
So heres to me not drafting a bunch of injury prone hacks tomorroow night.
