Some Day This Place Is Gonna Burn

Thursday night we went to see Matt Good at Arizona's. This marked the 8th time I've seen him, all of those 8 occuring in the past 2 years. As per usual, Matt's voice was amazing and the band was tight. The set list featured a few new additons. They opened with Advertising on Police Cars. Suburbia was brought back out of the vault and the new upcoming single, Oh Be Joyful was also played. Combine those with a good mix of his other material and it was a stellar show. Wad and I managed to weasel our way up to the front row for the entire show. Despite this i didnt take many pics because the stage lighting sucked. Wad and I did shoot some video footage or Suburbia. I got 1:30 and its pretty good. Wad got the whole song and from what he tells me it came out nicely. Im eagerly awaiting to view it.

The only bummer was this one douche who was behind wad and I in the crowd all night who kept running his mouth the whole show. He was all pissed cuz we were in front of him and he kept touching and dancing wildly about till we had to tell him to shut his fucking mouth.

The show wasnt the best of matt ive seen. If i had to rank it i would say maybe 3rd, based on the rare songs. The kool haus show being the number 1 performace and the wasaga beach show being number 2.
